Dear Antioch Baptist Church family,

We want to be proactive, practical, and wise as we respond to the COVID 19 outbreak. We are taking steps for us to be as safe as possible when we are together as a church family.

1. If you are sick with ANYTHING please stay home. You can tune into Facebook; our services will be live streamed starting this Sunday so you can stay connected with us.
2. The effect of the virus on people 60-up is much more severe than on younger people. If you already have underlying health issues, we completely understand if you feel it necessary to stay home.
3. Instead of passing the offering plate on Sunday morning we will provide a place for you to drop your offering on the way out of the building. If you feel that it is necessary to stay home and would like to mail your offering you can send it to Antioch Baptist Church 425 Antioch Road, Humboldt TN, 38343.
4. Let a friendly "hello" replace a handshake or a hug.
5. We have replenished soap in the bathrooms and have hand sanitizer throughout the building.
6. Make sure you are considerate by covering your face when you cough and sneeze.
7. If it becomes necessary to cancel any services or events we will communicate via Facebook and phone. If you have not already joined our Remind account text @antiochba to 81010 to receive updates via text message.

Bottom line: Life will be different for a while as we take a few precautions when we are in public. Be a good neighbor during this season. Call your elderly friends and those who have a hard time getting around. Make sure they have plenty of supplies. Don't forget to pray for one another and all of those folks being impacted by this unexpected trial. God is Faithful!

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
II Timothy 1:7
